Reproduction Wood Doors
Weston Millwork Company carries no stock items dedicating itself completely to the custom reproduction of original historic millwork. WMCO produces authentic reproductions of interior and exterior doors.
The joinery and craftsmanship of the original millwork helped it to last a century or more. WMCO uses only time-tested mortise and tenon construction. Modern doweled joints do not stand the test of time and are not durable enough to be used for quality, exterior doors. Original craftsmanship and attention to detail is what makes millwork from WMCO a lasting value.
If your house has been modernized and you are wanting to return your doors to the original period look, WMCO can help! We have many original millwork catalogs dating from the 1890s through the 1950s, so we can provide a truly authentic design that would be appropriate to the architectural period of your building.
Here are some recent samples of custom wood doors produced for restoration projects. In almost every case, the original work has been exactly duplicated in every detail.
Please Note- We are not able to make door frames nor pre-hung doors at the present time.
